Today's birthday: The Thin White Duke, David Bowie, continues to defy nature as he turns 60. And if he hadn't fallen in love with fried peanut butter sandwiches and prescription pills, Elvis Presley would've turned 72 today.

On this day in 1966, The Beatles released the essential album, "Rubber Soul."

Your music news for this Monday:

* All you Arcade Fire fans waiting anxiously for new music from your favorite Canucks, head over to the band's official site, www.arcadefire.com, where they're streaming the song "Black Mirror." As previously reported here, you can currently purchase another new song, "Intervention" over on iTunes. The band's new album, "Neon Bible" hits shelves on March 6th.
